Our Team

Alex Regan, MPH (she/her), is a public health practitioner and researcher with experience across global health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), health equity, and monitoring and evaluation. Her work focuses on collaborative learning, participatory and feminist evaluation approaches, safeguarding, and strengthening community-centered health systems and programs.

Alex is Co-Founder and Director of RAISE Global Health, where she supports multi-country projects related to SRHR, gender equity, safeguarding, implementation research, and health systems strengthening. She has worked with NGOs, research institutions, advocacy organizations, and grassroots partners across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the United States.

Before co-founding RAISE, Alex worked with the Institute for Health Policy in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where she coordinated a regional immunization learning network supporting countries across South and Southeast Asia. She previously worked at CARB-X at Boston University, supporting communications, governance, and operational coordination for a global public-private partnership focused on antimicrobial resistance. Earlier in her career, she managed programs supporting adolescent girls and young women survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in Sri Lanka and was a U.S. Department of State Fulbright Fellow in Kandy.

Alex holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross. She lived and worked in Sri Lanka for nearly a decade and is particularly interested in reproductive justice, implementation and systems thinking, participatory approaches to research and evaluation, and the relationship between health systems and social inequity.
