Research

We provide research services using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches. This includes literature reviews, primary studies, policy review and analysis, ethnography, and evaluation studies.

Our approach to research is feminist, participatory, and decolonial. We see knowledge as a powerful resource to which access should be made equitable. Consequently, we see research as a tool of knowledge generation and translation to ultimately be used to advocate for equitable development.

education & knowledge sharing

Our knowledge-sharing work ensures that insights gained from both lived and learned experiences are accessible and actionable.

We bring together key expertise from professionals with formal technical training and those with on-the-ground, lived experience to create collaborative, safer, and inclusive learning environments. We provide this service through in-person and virtual activities such as workshops, courses, mutual training sessions, guest lecturing, and speaking engagements to facilitate knowledge exchange and mutual learning between diverse entities and individuals.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)

We provide MEAL-related services through intersectional and decolonial feminist participatory approaches.

Our innovative evaluation methodologies include Outcome Harvesting, Realist Evaluation, Developmental Evaluation, and Most Significant Change. By using a combination of traditional and novel data collection methods: to conduct MEAL assignments, such as Open-Space Technology, Photovoice, surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions our findings are continuously comprehensive. We ensure diverse and robust analysis by using mixed methods with proper triangulation and tailoring our evaluations to fit the need, feasibility, and usability of the project.

We view each evaluation as a collaborative learning tool that is co-owned by all stakeholders, rather than a performance judgement.
