  1. External Impact Assessment for GATE CRG-SI Project
RAISE was hired  by GATE to conduct an impact assessment of their Community, Rights and Gender (CRG) Strategic Initiative (SI) Project. This project focused on improving meaningful participation and inclusion of trans* and gender-diverse (TGD) people in the national HIV responses while simultaneously strengthening TGD organisations’ capacity in advocacy.

We implemented a feminist, participatory, decolonised, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming evaluation approach that involved evaluators from the impacted identity. We submitted our final report in early January 2024 and offered to support their future sensemaking/dissemination process.

2. External Impact Assessment of THRIVE Consortium Project

RAISE was hired by GATE to assess progress of their multi-year project. Their project worked across 4 regions: the Caribbean, East Africa, Europe & Central Asia, and the Middle East & North Africa. Their project aims to connect trans* rights groups worldwide, strengthen their role in HIV responses and support advocacy for legal recognition and health rights. We are implementing a feminist, participatory, decolonised, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming evaluation approach that involves evaluators from the impacted identity.
